• [ ] May I have photos of the sire (dad) and dam (mom)?
• [ ] How old are the mom and dad?
• [ ] May I see the parents in real life?
• [ ] Are the parents registered? (this matters if you plan on breeding)

Health & Lifestyle

• [ ] What type of temperament do the parents have? e.g. happy go lucky? anxious? independent?
• [ ] What lifestyle do the mom and dad have? e.g. what do they eat? how do they get exercise? where do they sleep? where do they hang out and play?
• [ ] What regular vaccines, tests and check-ups do the parents have?
• [ ] Do the parents have any history of medical illness? Ask for applicable tests or health guarantees.
• [ ] What type of training do the parents have? e.g. obedience/ trick training? agility? behavioral? service?
